Roller jig for drawer boxes was my white whale until last Tuesday.
I finally borrowed my buddy's shop-built jig and knocked out 12 dovetail drawers in under 2 hours without a single blowout, now I'm wondering if I should sink $80 into one of those Kreg router templates or just build my own copy, what's the best bang for the buck you guys have seen?
Have you actually used one of those Kreg templates yet? I borrowed a friend's and felt like it fought me the whole time, way too fidgety for what it costs. Building your own copy sounds smarter honestly, you already know what works from your buddy's jig anyway.
Is that thing complicated to set up? I bought a used router once and spent more time figuring out the manual than actually cutting wood... @ruby659 you seriously lucked out on that deal. I usually end up paying full price for stuff I can't even figure out how to turn on.
