Spent $150 on a Festool dust separator and it saved my lungs after just one week of routing MDF.
I was coughing up pink dust every night before I got it, now the air in my shop stays clear and my sinus headaches are gone, has anyone else noticed a huge difference with dust collection upgrades?

Yeah "sounds absolutely miserable" is right. Reminds me of that time @torres.blair was talking about getting sick from some weird mold stuff, not the same but close enough. Pink dust or not, coughing up anything that isn't air is always a rough time.

okay but i gotta say i don't totally get why everyone is acting like coughing up pink dust is some big deal. i mean sure it sounds weird but people act like you're dying or something. honestly i've had some bad reactions to meds before and it freaked me out way more than pink dust would. i think some of you are just overreacting a little. like yeah it's not normal but it's probably not the end of the world either.
