Wasted $300 on a "precision" miter saw that couldn't cut straight
I bought this fancy miter saw from an online ad about 6 months ago. It claimed to have laser guides and zero slop in the fence, total garbage. First cut I made on a piece of poplar was off by almost 2 degrees. I spent a whole Saturday trying to adjust it, watched 4 different YouTube videos, even bought a special square to check it. Nothing helped, the blade had a wobble right out of the box. The company refused to refund because I "used" it, what a joke. Ended up selling it for 80 bucks on Facebook Marketplace to a guy who rebuilds them. Has anyone else gotten burned by these internet-only tool brands with flashy marketing?

Did you check if the arbor was clean before mounting the blade?

Wait, @alicer53 are you sure it's the arbor and not the blade itself being warped? I've had blades that look straight but wobble because the plate is bent from overheating or a bad cut. The arbor is usually fine unless you dropped something on it. Might be worth swapping blades first before messing with the saw.
