Cat 6 keystone jack failed after 3 months in an office building downtown
Replaced 24 jacks in a medical office last Tuesday because the factory crimp job was loose on half of them, has anyone else had that problem with pre-terminated faceplates?

Wait, did you check if the cables were actually terminated correctly on both ends before you blamed the faceplates? Because I've swapped out whole batches of jacks that tested bad, only to find out the real issue was a punchdown tool that wasn't clicking right. Loose factory crimps sound weird too, those machines are usually pretty solid. Maybe you just got a rough pallet like the other guy said, but ripping out 24 seems like a lot of work for something that might not be the jacks fault.

Factory crimp job was loose on half of them" - sounds like you got the cheap Tuesday afternoon batch. I've put in hundreds of those pre-terminated faceplates over the last five years and maybe had one fail. They're made by machines, not drunk guys on a lunch break. You probably just got a bad pallet from the supply house. Send them back, get a refund, and move on instead of ripping out all 24.

Right on, "cheap Tuesday afternoon batch" is so real, I got a box of those once and half the pins were bent, total nightmare.
