My Klein crimper snapped mid-job on a Comcast install in Arlington yesterday
Was working on a new drop in this lady's attic and my go-to Klein crimpers just broke right at the hinge. Had to crawl back down and drive 20 miles to Home Depot for a replacement. Anyone else had a tool fail on them at the worst possible time?

Man, that's rough. Nobody ever considers the attic crawl being the part that breaks the tool, not the cable. Those hinges take a beating from all the awkward angles and sweaty palms up there, not from the work itself. At least you got the drop done and didn't have to call a second truck.

Did I mention my elbow and the attic ladder are in a committed relationship now? (Not a fun one.)

@phoenix_singh25 sounds like you two are in it for the long haul. At least the attic ladder had the decency to pick the joint that's hardest to ice.
