Three hours inside a crawlspace over one loose connector

Spent a whole morning on a job in Tacoma where the signal was dropping every 20 minutes. Turned out a connector at the ground block was hand tight from a previous job, took me 3 hours to finally check that with my torque wrench. I've checked splitters, runs, even swapped the modem before I got to the obvious. Anyone else got a simple fix that ate up a whole shift before you found it?

Hold up, I see this different. You spent three hours to check the one thing that takes ten seconds to verify first, and that's on you, not the job. I always carry a cheap torque wrench in my bag and I check the ground block before I even pull out the meter, because that's the first thing that gets bumped or hand tightened by whoever was there before. You swapped the modem and checked splitters before the physical connection at the entry point, and that's backwards in my book. Your mileage may vary, but I've seen more signal issues from loose connectors than bad gear, so I burn two minutes on that right away and save myself the headache. Not saying you're wrong, just saying I'd rather waste a short time checking the cheap stuff than lose a morning on it.
