Hit 2,000 followers after my apology video and that feels weird
I posted a half baked apology in March after some old tweets resurfaced and figured I'd lose everyone, but the count actually went UP by 300 in a week. Is the comeback math just about timing or do people genuinely forgive faster when you admit you were being an idiot on camera?

People probably followed you because the apology video made you look human, not because they care about the actual tweets. Half the internet loves a redemption arc, even if the "crime" was dumb jokes from years ago. The timing helps too, everyone's so numb to scandals now that a quick "my bad" feels like a breath of fresh air. You basically gave them permission to feel good about forgiving you, that's why the number went up instead of down.
