I won't let JD Vance back in, the 2021 donor email was the line

Everyone is ready to accept him because he apologized on the podcast circuit, but I can't get past that February 2021 email where he pushed the false election claims to small donors. I had to pick between forgiving him for the sake of unity or holding the line on accountability, and I chose to hold the line. He made $250,000 off that donor list in one week, and the apology only came after the book deal was signed. I get that people change, but his quiet comeback has been way too smooth and calculated. Has anyone else drawn a hard boundary with a specific canceled figure, or am I just being stubborn?

I used to be in the "give him another chance" camp. The podcast apologies felt genuine enough to me, and I figured people deserve room to grow. But that February 2021 email, the timing of it right after the election mess, that was a calculated move for money, not for truth. The fact he made a quarter million off those small donors in a single week tells me he knew exactly what he was doing. And the apology only coming after the book deal, that's what sealed it for me. You can't undo that kind of greed with a few nice interviews. I don't blame you for holding the line, someone has to.
