That 2016 apology video comeback still bugs me, here's why

I know everyone is cheering for that lifestyle guru who dropped off after the scam allegations back in 2016, but I actually tried her new app last month and it is a mess. The meal planner glitched three times in one week, and the customer support email bounced back twice. I spent $60 on a yearly subscription and all I got was a PDF that looks like a 5th grader typed it. The apology video was slick, sure, but the product is proof they never fixed the real problems. Everyone says give people a second chance, but I think we should demand actual receipts before we clap for them again. Has anyone else tested a comeback brand and found the quality way worse than the hype?

Man, that's the thing nobody talks about, right? A slick apology video costs almost nothing to make, but a working app takes actual money and time. I've seen this pattern before, you get a polished mea culpa and then the backend is somehow worse than before the scandal. It's like they spend all their energy on the image and none on the product. Good on you for actually testing it, that's more than most of the cheerleaders did.
