That apology podcast two years later, I finally see what she was doing

I used to roll my eyes whenever I saw clips of that wellness influencer who got called out for selling fake healing crystals. She did a podcast apology in 2023 and I thought it was pure damage control. Then my sister bought one of her $40 dollar bracelets last month and I listened to the full episode out of curiosity. Turns out she explained exactly where she sourced the stones, showed her supplier contracts, and refunded everyone who asked without a fuss. She also admitted she was wrong about the energy claims, which I never heard in the short clips. I still think the original scam was bad, but seeing the full picture made me realize I judged her based on a 90 second highlight. Has anyone else changed their mind after actually sitting through a full apology instead of just the viral soundbite?

Forty bucks for a bracelet and suddenly she's honest, guess the real scam was my attention span.
