Dropped $180 on a resume writer in Columbus and I'm still not sure if it was genius or a scam
I was getting zero callbacks after 5 months of applying, so I paid a woman $180 to rewrite my resume and cover letter, and honestly her version felt weird and too fancy for who I am. Six weeks later I got two interviews and a job offer, but I can't tell if the money did it or if I just got lucky with timing. Anyone else paid someone to write their resume, and did it really make a difference for you?
