Quit a steady job after one bad day, still not sure it was smart 6 weeks later
I walked out of a warehouse supervisor gig in Tulsa after a shift where the power went out at 2 PM and everything just piled up. I was already burned out, but I made the call in about 20 minutes and packed my locker. Now I'm doing gig work and a part time landscaping thing, making maybe $800 less a month. What convinced me to stay gone was realizing the job made me dread Sundays, and no paycheck fixes that. Has anyone else made a snap quit and actually stuck with it, or did you end up going back?
