Took me 11 days to fix a tiny mistake on my resume and I still feel dumb
I was tweaking my resume for a job at a hospital in Denver and noticed my dates for one old job were off by a single month. I figured it would take me maybe ten minutes to fix and send it out. Nope. I ended up going down this rabbit hole of checking every single date, then I worried the gap between two jobs looked weird, so I rewrote that whole section. Then I asked my cousin to look at it, and she said the font made it hard to read. So I spent two evenings playing with fonts instead of actually applying. By day 6 I had three versions saved and couldn't remember which one I'd already sent to a recruiter. I finally just picked the cleanest one and submitted it, but now I'm second guessing if the whole thing was even worth all that time. Has anyone else spent way too long on something that should have been a quick fix?
