Spent 2 hours fixing a cabinet door I hung backwards last month in Tulsa

I was so proud of that inset cabinet until the homeowner pointed out the grain was running the wrong way on the door. Anyone else ever install something perfect only to realize you had it flipped?

Did you try turning the hinges around instead of flipping the whole thing?

nah I'm gonna hard disagree here, flipping hinges around is just a bandaid fix most times. you end up with the door sitting weird and still have to adjust everything else anyway. better to just take the time to do it right from the start instead of making the problem worse.

Oh man, turning the hinges around is such a game changer. I did that on a cabinet door that was driving me nuts and it worked like a charm. Seriously, sometimes you just need to flip the hardware instead of wrestling with the whole thing.
