Appreciation post: My old knee kicker finally gave out on a job in Springfield
The pin sheared clean off halfway through stretching a 12x15 Berber, and I had to finish the room with just a power stretcher. It was a real pain trying to get the tension right in the corners without it. Anyone got a good brand for a replacement that won't break the bank?

That pin shearing is the worst. How many years did you get out of that old kicker before it quit?

Honestly, it's just a cheap part. Not exactly a world-ending failure.

Ugh, tell me about it, @phoenix_singh25. I got a solid eight seasons out of mine before that pin went. Honestly, keeping the linkage greased is the only thing that really stretches its life.
