Big box store job last spring made me rethink my whole carpet layout process
Had a 2,000 sq ft install at a Lowes in Columbus, the diagrams they gave me had the seams all wrong for the hallway transition. I followed their pattern and ended up with a visible line right at the door, had to redo it on my own time. Is the store's plan just a suggestion and the installer should always adjust, or do you guys stick to it and make the homeowner deal with the strip?
