Blew $180 on a power stretcher when my knee was the real problem
Bought a used power stretcher off a guy in Fresno thinking my carpet wrinkles were a tension issue, turned out I was just kneeling wrong for 12 years and my knee was done. Told my doctor about it and he said the stretcher was fine but the $40 foam knee pad I laughed at two years ago was the actual fix. Anyone else buy a tool to solve a body problem?
That knee pad thing makes sense though, because your body gives out way before the tool does. My old boss spent years blaming his back on cheap vacuums and it turned out he was just carrying everything on one hip. Fix the body first and half the tools you thought you needed stop being a problem.
