Carpet seams showing after 14 months in a rental, what did I do wrong
Installed a nice plush carpet in a rental unit last spring, and now the seams are visible and slightly lifting near the hallway door. I used a heat iron and seam tape, but maybe the pad was too soft or I didn't stretch it enough. Has anyone else had seams pop on rentals with heavy foot traffic, and what's your fix for it?

96% of seam pops on rentals are humidity swings, not the tape job.
