Hit 500 square feet in one day, my back is still talking to me
Last month I did a living room and hallway combo that came to just over 500 square feet, and it was the first time I ever cleared that in a single day by myself. I usually pace around 350 to 400, so I figured this would take most of the day and it did, but something clicked with my layout and cuts. The seam along the hallway was clean on the first try, which never happens for me. Has anyone else hit a weird milestone like that where the numbers just worked out, even if it wasn't a record?
Man, that back pain is no joke right? I totally get that milestone thing though. It's like when everything just lines up and you're not even fighting the material, you're just flowing with it. That clean hallway seam on the first try is basically winning the lottery in our line of work. I've had days where I'm way over my usual numbers but it doesn't feel like it because I'm not stopping to redo stuff. Hope your back forgives you by tomorrow, ibuprofen and a heating pad are your best friends right now.
