Just hit 10,000 square feet of carpet laid this year last week
I didn't even realize I was tracking it until I added up my job sheets. That's a whole warehouse floor plus a few houses worth of stretch-in. Anyone else keep a running count of your yearly footage?

Maybe it's just me but counting every job like that would drive me crazy. I'd rather just do my work and not keep score.

Damn that's actually pretty impressive when you step back and think about it. I've never tracked my own footage like that but now I kinda wanna see what I'm hitting just out of curiosity. 10k is no joke, that's a ton of cutting and stretching.

Man I dunno, sounds like a total chore to me. Who's got time to obsess over numbers when you could just be doing the work and moving on to the next thing?
