My old foreman in Dallas told me to always chalk the seam before cutting, and I finally did it on a 12x15 last Friday
I was installing a cheap berber in a rental over on Ross Ave and the pattern was running crooked no matter how many times I measured. My old foreman Rick used to say, 'Chalk it first, then cut, or you'll eat the cost,' and I always brushed him off because I thought I could eyeball it. Does anyone else still chalk their seams or am I just wasting time?
