Power stretcher kicked my butt for years until I switched to a knee kicker for small rooms.

I kept fighting with a power stretcher in a 6x8 bathroom last month and finally tried a knee kicker start to finish, saved me an hour and the carpet looked way tighter than my usual power stretcher job, anyone else found a spot where the old school method just works better?

Wait, did you catch that YouTube video where that old timer carpet guy swears the knee kicker never lets him down on stairs? I've been through the same thing with tiny closets, the power stretcher is just too bulky for those tight spots. The knee kicker gives you way more control in small spaces, I think people forget that carpet stretching is about finesse not just muscle. I read somewhere that even the pros switch back for anything under 10x10, makes me feel better about ditching the big rig sometimes.

The problem with the big rig in small spots isn't just the size, it's that you end up overstretching one area and leaving wrinkles somewhere else because you can't get the leverage right.
