Unpopular opinion: cap and quarter round hide a stretched carpet more than any power stretcher trick
Did a 40 yard stretch-in in Bakersfield three weeks back and the homeowner wanted the carpet tight to the base with no shoe. I fought it, talked him into shoe molding, and after he saw it he agreed. Took me 2 hours to run 180 feet of shoe vs the 4 hours I would have spent fighting wrinkles along the walls. Anyone here still doing stretch-ins with no trim and getting clean edges?
