Vent: spent $25 on a "limited edition" Stanley cup lid that took 3 weeks to ship and broke in one day
Ordered a Stanley cup lid from a small shop on Instagram back in April for $25, the shop said it was handmade and limited to 50 pieces. It showed up 3 weeks later, felt hollow, and the seal popped off the first time I filled it. Sent 4 emails before a reply, they blamed "shipping damage" and offered 10% off a future order. Now every ad on my feed has a "handmade" Stanley accessory for $30+, has anyone else been burned by these tiny shops riding the cup trend?
