Can we talk about apology videos filmed in front of bookshelves?
I swear every celebrity apology in the last 6 months is shot with a row of hardcover books behind them. I spent about $40 tracking down the exact same bookshelf background from one of them, turns out it's just a peel-and-stick wallpaper. Anyone else notice how fake the setting makes the whole apology feel?

$40 for peel-and-stick wallpaper? That's wild, I didn't realize they were that cheap.

Oh man, the bookshelf wallpaper thing is hilarious... @felixlane $40 for peel-and-stick is probably still cheaper than renting a real library for an hour. Next they'll be selling "sincere-looking bookshelf" backdrops at the dollar store.

Three years back I spent $80 on a single roll of normal wallpaper for my hallway so $40 for peel and stick sounds like a steal honestly. @bailey.jennifer I get your point about the Amazon packs but those are usually thin and look fake from two feet away. For someone doing Zoom calls all day that $40 might be the difference between looking like you read books and looking like you own a printing press. Plus you don't have to worry about your actual bookshelf collapsing under the weight of all those unread celebrity books.

@felixlane you can get a pack of 10 different wallpaper backdrops on amazon for like $30 total. Might be time for celebrities to rotate their fake backgrounds.
