Can we talk about that influencer's 'I'm sorry you were offended' video from Tuesday
I mean, she spent like $5k on a PR firm to write that and it still came off so fake, you could see her reading the teleprompter the whole time. Has anyone else noticed they always cry at the exact same moment?

It's a bit too easy to just scroll past like @ward.anna said. Maybe the formula works because people actually do want to see some sign of regret, even if it's staged.

Three minutes and twelve seconds in is when they always look down and pause. That's the money shot for the algorithm. Jenny's right that people genuinely want to see something real even if they know it's fake. But the whole problem is the formula kills any chance of actual honesty because they're too busy hitting those exact emotional beats. Nobody just talks like a normal human anymore when the camera's rolling, right?

Ugh, do we have to? It's the same script every time. They film in a soft sweater, look down, then cue the single tear. I just scroll past now. It's not like anything real ever comes from it anyway.
