Comparing two celebrity apology videos back to back really showed who meant it

Ngl, I watched D-list actress Tara Moore's apology for her rant at a fan last week, and then I watched singer Jake Reyes' apology for skipping his show in Chicago. Tara used all the buzzwords like 'taking accountability' and 'growing' but never actually said what she did wrong. Jake just apologized directly without any fancy language, named the city, and said the real reason was he overslept after a panic attack. Tara's video had 3 camera cuts and a sad piano track. Jake filmed it on his phone in his car with bad lighting. One of these people actually felt sorry and it was painfully obvious which one. Has anyone else compared two similar apologies side by side and seen this difference?

Is it just me or does all that production value actually make her look worse? Like you're over here with a whole film crew and a piano track for something you did to a fan, it just screams damage control instead of real regret. Jake's raw phone video with bad lighting and a shaky voice is what someone looks like when they own up to their mistake, not when they're trying to sell you on a redemption arc. Tara's team probably spent more time perfecting the lighting than she did actually thinking about what she said. When you strip away all the polish, you see who's genuine and who's just performing.

Tara's video looked like a movie trailer for guilt. All that production just makes you think she's hiding behind it. Jake looked tired and real, like he actually messed up and felt bad. The difference is sincerity and you can't fake that with lighting or music. Tara's team probably told her what to say. Jake just owned it. Its really that simple.
