Heard a pop star's apology had 47 cuts in 3 minutes and that changed how I watch these

I was watching a breakdown video on YouTube last night and the creator pointed out that a certain singer's apology clip had 47 jump cuts in under 3 minutes. Made me think, if you can't get through one sentence without stopping and starting over, are you even sincere? I started going back through old tearful apologies I used to believe and counting the cuts myself. The ones with fewer cuts felt way more real, like they actually sat down and said what they felt instead of editing a performance. Has anyone else noticed a link between editing tricks and whether an apology lands as genuine?

47 cuts in 3 minutes? That's wild, I didn't realize it was that bad. Makes you wonder if they even wrote the apology themselves.

I'd find it really hard to take someone seriously after a report like that. It just makes me wonder what they were thinking when they recorded it.
