Just found out Taylor Swift's apology for the jet usage had 3 cuts in 90 seconds

I watched it frame by frame on YouTube. A pro editor friend said that many cuts means they pieced together the best takes, not a raw genuine moment. Has anyone else counted edits in these videos?

Ha, classic. You’re telling me I need to rewatch that with my own eyes now. I can barely edit a selfie in two tries, let alone three cuts in ninety seconds. People say I’m direct, but that’s just a raw take compared to this polished show.

That's an interesting point about the polish vs. rawness thing, @fionam11. What exactly makes you think the show is too polished, though? Is it the editing or the way the contestants talk and act? I ask because a lot of reality TV these days feels like they're filming a commercial instead of real life. The cuts are so fast you can't tell if someone actually said something or if it was stitched together from three different sentences. Seems like you might have a better eye for that than most people.
