Rant: I paid $80 for a "celebrity apology masterclass" and it was just a guy in a wig reading Wikipedia

Saw some influencer pushing this course on how to craft a "sincere" video apology. Figured I'd check it out since I'm Always curious about this stuff. Opened the first module and it's some dude with a fake accent reading the Wikipedia entry for "public relations" for 45 minutes. I want my 80 dollars back and also the 2 hours I wasted watching that nonsense. Has anyone else fallen for one of these scammy products?

Lol $80 is takeout for two nights for me but I get it, it's more about the principle. I fell for one of those "get rich quick" crypto courses last summer for like $120 and it was literally just a guy reading the Bitcoin white paper in his car. No jokes. The whole thing was filmed on his phone with the sun glaring off the windshield. I still get angry thinking about it. These influencers know exactly how to market this junk to people who just want to learn something useful. Your masterclass sounds even worse though, a guy in a wig reading Wikipedia is genuinely hilarious in the worst way. I hope you can get your money back through whatever payment method you used.

Question whether it's really worth getting that worked up over $80, you probably dropped more on takeout this week without blinking.
