Spent $60 on a video editing course just to understand the fake tears better

I got tired of guessing if a star's apology was real, so I bought a basic editing class online. It showed me how to spot cuts that hide pauses for fake emotion and how background music gets added to make you feel sorry. Now I watch those videos on mute first to see the raw face before the sad piano kicks in. Anyone else try to learn a skill just to get better at calling out the nonsense?

Is it just me or does every text now need a decoder ring? I mean, you have to read between the lines just to see if someone's actually free for coffee. Feels like a part-time job nobody asked for.
