That 2012 Gwyneth apology still holds up better than any of the new ones

Rewatched her 12 minute video from the goop cookbook mess the other night. Everyone back then called it fake because she kept pushing her lifestyle brand in the middle of saying sorry. I remember thinking no way this is genuine, shes just selling candles. But comparing it to the 45 second blurry iPhone apologies we get now, at least she looked people in the eye and gave actual details about what she did wrong. The new ones feel like they were filmed in a panic between PR meetings. She had a lawyer off screen, sure, but she also admitted specific mistakes by name. I still think shes not fully sorry, but her team at least understood the assignment. Am I the only one who thinks the bar dropped that much in a decade?
