That $500 'sincere' apology workshop was just a fake tear seminar

I paid $500 for a weekend workshop in Austin that promised to help celebrities make believable apology videos. The instructor spent two hours teaching us how to look down and pause at the right moments. Then she sold us a $150 lighting kit to make our eyes look watery. I tried it out on a fake apology to my neighbor about my dog digging up their tulips. The video got zero views and my neighbor just laughed at me. Total waste, and I could have just watched three YouTube tutorials for free. Has anyone else paid for one of these scam apology coaching gigs, or did I pick the only bad one?

Skip the seminar, just drink a beer and cry into the camera. Nobody can fake real regret, everyone can fake a red face.
