That actor's apology about the leaked audio hit every classic PR move
Watched that whole 8 minute video from the guy on the sitcom. He apologized 3 times but never actually said what he did wrong. Kept saying he was "sorry if anyone felt hurt" which is textbook non-apology language. My friend who works in PR called it from the first 30 seconds - anyone else spot the same pattern?

Oh man, it's wild how obvious it gets once you know what to look for right? @stellat46 mentioned how these all feel like the same script and honestly I see that same pattern everywhere now. Not even just with celebrities. I've noticed bosses and even regular people do that vague apology thing where they say sorry for how you felt instead of sorry for what they did. It's like everyone learned from the same handbook on how to dodge responsibility while looking sorry. The whole "I'm on a journey of growth" line is basically code for "I got caught and I'm hoping you'll forget by next week lol.

Used to roll my eyes at people calling out celebrity apologies for being fake, but watching this video really showed me what they mean. Every time he got close to actually admitting something specific, he pivoted back to vague statements about "growth" and "learning." Does anyone else notice how these scripts all feel like they come from the same playbook?
