That celebrity apology video from 2019 still bugs me

I spent 2 hours last night going down a rabbit hole on that actor who apologized for those old tweets. The one with the guitar and the dim lighting. Looked sincere at first but I counted 7 cuts in a 3 minute video. My buddy edits videos for a living and he said real apologies don't need that many jump cuts. It took me way longer than expected to figure out why it felt off. Maybe 3 hours total including the research. Has anyone else timed the pauses in these things to see if they're reading a script?

Watched one of those the other day and noticed they never blinked. Felt like watching a hostage video but with better lighting.

Watched that same video and counted, 18 minutes without a single blink. Then I started thinking about how many times I blink in a conversation and now I can't stop noticing it when I talk to people. Honestly it makes you wonder if they edit out the blinks or if these influencers have some kind of training. Feels like those old infomercials where the lady smiles for 30 minutes straight.

My friend swears she watched a mukbang video for 15 minutes and the girl never blinked once, then she caught herself trying not to blink in real life and looked like a crazy person. @johnson.river you're spot on about it feeling like a hostage situation, it honestly makes my eyes dry just thinking about it.
