The tearful TikTok apology felt real until I noticed the ring light reflection
I watched a singer apologize for lip-syncing at a 2019 show in Austin, and I almost bought it, but then I saw her manager in the reflection giving a thumbs up, and now I count reflections in every apology video before judging, anyone else do that?

Oh yeah, I've caught stuff like that before too. It's funny how one tiny detail can flip the whole thing though, like the tears suddenly feel less real when you see the setup behind them. I mean, maybe the apology was still genuine, but the reflection stuff just makes it hard to fully buy in.
