Heard a producer at a coffee shop in Burbank say 'we'll just plant the story' about an actor's breakup.

That phrase made me question how many 'leaked' relationship updates are actually just PR moves to get ahead of a narrative, so what's the most obvious planted story you've seen this year?

How many times have we all fallen for the "they're just really good friends" line? I used to buy it every time, but that whole Zendaya and Tom Holland thing felt so staged. Like, the "leaked" photos from a car looked straight out of a movie set, and then the official news dropped right on schedule. Now I see that game everywhere.

The car photo was suspicious, but I just don't care enough to track it. Most of these PR games are for selling movie tickets anyway. It's not like it changes my day.

Ugh, you're totally right, @miasanchez. Once you see how that PR game works, you can't unsee it. My rule now is to ignore the "leaked" stuff and just wait. If it's real, they'll eventually be seen living normal life, not just in perfect paparazzi shots. That whole car photo thing was way too clean, like a scene from one of their movies. It just trains us to watch for the act instead of the real story, doesn't it?
