I used to think celeb apology videos were always fake until last Tuesday

I was scrolling through TikTok around midnight and saw this actress I've followed for years post a 3-minute video apologizing for some old tweets. Usually I'd roll my eyes and scroll past, but she was sitting in her car in a Target parking lot looking genuinely wrecked. She admitted she lost a sponsorship deal worth $15,000 because of it and said she'd been working with a diversity coach for 6 months. The part that got me is she showed actual screenshots of her payment to the coach and her canceled contract. Has anyone else had a celeb apology actually change your mind about them?

@phoenix_singh25 Honestly, you can fake a screen recording pretty easily these days, so that doesn't prove anything. Celebrities are just better at manufacturing sincerity now, and this is still just damage control for the money she lost.

That screen recording of the contract is honestly crazy.

Did they actually sign it on camera or was it just showing it?
