My theory about celebrity relationship timelines after tracking 50 breakups
So I went down a rabbit hole last month - I started keeping a spreadsheet (I know, I'm a nerd) of when celebs announce breakups versus when they actually split based on that blind item from the Deuxmoi podcast. Turns out about 60% of them announce it 3-6 months after the real breakup. What I learned is that the typical "we grew apart" statement usually means they've been legally separated for months already. Has anyone else noticed this pattern in the gossip you follow?

That 3-6 month gap matches up with what I've noticed too, especially with the big A-list couples who have joint business deals or house sales to sort out. The "mutual decision" PR statements almost always come out right after the legal paperwork is finalized, not when the relationship actually ended. Saw a blind item once about a power couple who sold their compound six months before the official announcement, and the timeline lined up perfectly with the gossip.

That 3-6 month timeline actually clicked something for me. I used to think celebrity breakups were way more spontaneous, like they'd just wake up one day and decide to split. But seeing how the business side lines up with the public statement makes total sense, especially when you've got houses and joint accounts to untangle first.
