Okay so I was at a movie premiere after-party in LA last year and overheard two publicists talking about a huge A-list breakup.
They were saying the whole 'amicable split' story was completely staged to help with a movie release, and the couple had actually been separated for over a year. It was wild because the gossip blogs were running with the official story hard that week. It made me realize how much of what we read is just coordinated PR, not real tea. Has anyone else had a moment like that, where you saw the 'sausage being made' on a celebrity story?

Yeah, that hotel thing @colethomas mentioned is the real proof. It's all business. I remember when two actors were doing press tours for a superhero movie, all lovey dovey in interviews. A buddy who works on sets said they had separate trailers and wouldn't even look at each other off camera. The whole "power couple" thing was just to sell tickets. Makes you wonder what else is just a contract.

Honestly used to buy into those celebrity relationships hook, line, and sinker. Stories like that hotel one really pull back the curtain on the whole business side of it. Makes you question every perfect photo you see now, doesn't it?

Ever notice how much of normal life is like this now? Social media posts of perfect family dinners when everyone was fighting an hour before. Companies saying they care about the environment while doing the opposite. It feels like we're all in a play, acting out the parts we're supposed to. Makes it hard to know what's real anymore.

Heard a similar thing from a friend who works at a hotel, saw a famous couple in separate rooms the whole time they were supposedly on a romantic vacation.
