Rant: I called the Bennifer reunion fake news for 2 years, then a pap at LAX showed me the receipts
I used to think every "they're back together" headline was just a slow news week filler, especially after the 2004 split. Last June I was at LAX waiting on a red eye and a photographer next to me scrolled through 40 shots he took that week of them at a Santa Monica brunch. He pointed out the ring, the same car, and the timing lined up with 3 separate sightings. So now I check date stamps before I call anything fake, how do you all sort a real reunion from a staged one?
What made you trust that specific photographer though? Paps get paid either way and some of them straight up lie about when a shot was taken. Did you cross check his LAX pics against the brunch spot, like did the weather or her outfit match what other people posted that same weekend? Because a ring and a car can be faked or reused from old shoots pretty easy. I keep a notes app of dates and spots whenever I see a sighting, then see if two or three unrelated sources line up within a day or two. If it's just one guy with a camera and a story, that's not receipts, that's a sales pitch.
