Standing in a Walmart checkout line in Ohio when I spotted a "random act of kindness" being filmed 4 times
Two years ago in a Walmart in Dayton, Ohio I stood in line behind a guy handing cash to a stranger while a friend filmed it from three angles. They made the woman hand the money back and do the hug again because she "didn't look surprised enough" the first time. Now every time a feel good clip pops up on my feed I wonder if it was staged, and honestly I can't tell anymore. So where is the line here, does a video need to be unplanned to count as real, or is a paid kindness still kindness even if it was shot 4 times? I want to hear from people who actually trust these clips.
