That time a producer at a podcast fest told me the 'unearthed footage' was just AI

I was at Podcast Fest in Austin last spring and this producer from a big true crime show was talking about a famous leaked tape. I asked if he thought it was real and he just laughed and said 'we generate that stuff in 20 minutes now.' He showed me on his laptop how they can fake voice patterns and video grain to match any era. It hit me that half the 'exclusive clips' we obsess over might be just studio projects. Made me wonder how many of these celebrity scandals are manufactured from scratch. Has anyone here actually verified a so-called leak themselves?

That producer basically admitted most 'viral tapes' are just digital puppets now.
