The blind item that flipped my take on the whole story

I used to ignore blind items completely, figured they were just gossip bait with no receipts. Then a commenter on a forum post broke down a 2019 blind item line by line and matched it to a real sighting logged at LAX, and suddenly the pieces clicked. Now I check flight logs and public schedules before I write off a blind item, how do you all vet what's actually verifiable?

Flight logs only get you so far though. The real trick is checking if the blind item mentions a specific time or date, cause those are the ones that get copy-pasted from actual court filings or police reports way before news sites pick them up. Maybe it's just me but I've seen two blinds that matched arrest records almost word for word, just with names scrubbed out. And those are the ones that never get walked back later. The LAX stuff is cool but it's still just a person with a camera, the legal paper trail is the real gold. Idk, that's the angle I never see people talk about when they do these breakdowns.
