Tried decoding that viral breakup post about Chris and his mystery woman last night

Used a reverse image tool on her blurry background and found she was actually a paid model from a stock photo site, so now I'm wondering how many of those 'candid' paparazzi shots are just staged PR stunts?

Wait, isn't that basically all celeb photos now?

The Facetune era really kicked off around 2016 when those high-end retouching apps got popular with influencers. Honestly, @emma_garcia you hit on something real here. Nine times out of ten, those paparazzi shots of celebs looking "effortless" have gone through at least skin smoothing and a little body shaping before they hit the agency feeds. I remember I once tried to use one of those apps on a selfie and ended up with a warped wall behind me, so I just gave up. Tbh, the only way to tell anymore is to look at the background lines or the lighting on their skin, if the shadows are too soft, it's been tweaked. Ngl, I just assume every big name photo has had some work done unless it's a raw video clip.
