Unpopular opinion: that "insider" blind item about the married A-lister was fake and I proved it in 20 minutes
I was scrolling on my couch in Portland last Tuesday when I hit a Deuxmoi post claiming a married A-lister was secretly splitting, and every gossip site was running it like fact. I checked the original submitter's spelling patterns against a known fake account and found 3 posts with the exact same typo, so I posted the receipts in the comments and the mods deleted the thread within an hour. Why do people keep sharing blind items without checking if the source even exists?
Does it really matter that much if a blind item turns out fake though? Most people treat that stuff as entertainment and forget about it the next day anyway. Spending 20 minutes digging through some random account's typos seems like a lot of work for something nobody will remember by Friday.
