The publicist quote is still just a managed statement, not some deep truth. Both sites are pushing a story, just with different levels of access. Morgan.jason has a point about the noise, but the one with the quote isn't automatically real news. It's just the official version of the noise. The whole game is built on giving people what they want to hear, not what actually happened.
