Hit 1,000 plates in a single Friday night service and felt like a machine
I was on the line at this busy spot in Nashville last month, and somehow we cranked out exactly 1,000 covers between 5 and 11 PM. I only noticed because the POS system flashed a congratulations message (which I didn't even know it could do). My wrists were killing me by the end, but it felt wild to see that number. Has anyone else had a random milestone like that pop up during service?

Damn, that's a serious night right there! When I was doing kitchen work back in the day, we had a system that helped a ton. We prepped everything we could before service started, like chopping veggies and portioning out proteins. During the rush, we kept our stations super clean and organized so we weren't hunting for things. Also, calling out orders loud and clear helped the whole team stay on the same page. A few of us would double check each other's plates before they went out to catch mistakes early. That 1,000 number is legit impressive, hope you got to kick your feet up after!

Oh yeah that is such a beast of a night, I hit 900 once and felt like I flew through service.
