My new prep table arrived with a broken leg and I fixed it with a brick

The delivery guys dropped off my stainless prep table last Tuesday and were gone before I noticed the leg bracket was cracked clean through. I had prep scheduled for the next morning and no time to send it back. So I grabbed a paver brick from the parking lot out back, shimmed it under the broken corner, and leveled it with a folded up bar rag. It worked, but now the whole station wobbles just enough to annoy me every time I chop onions. I'm waiting on the replacement part but it's been 5 days and the supplier keeps saying 'should ship tomorrow.' Anyone else dealt with a janky equipment fix that you keep meaning to do properly but just keep working around instead?

Did you try wedging a second folded rag under that brick to stop the wobble?

Three folded rags and a stack of old postcards later, my brick still rocks like a boat in a storm. Honestly, at this point I think the brick is the only thing keeping that whole corner of the porch from collapsing. Maybe I should just name it and embrace the wobble, like a pet with a limp.
