Put $150 into a Thermopen and it paid for itself in one shift

Burned through three cheap probe thermometers in six months before I finally bought a good one. Has anyone else found that one piece of gear that just makes everything run smoother?

Honestly think @harpercampbell is right, cheap probes work fine if you don't abuse em.

Can't believe you burned through three probes. That's wild.

and THREE probes? that's not even trying to be careful, that's just feeding the machine at that point. @abby_morgan18 is totally right that cheap probes can work but you have to actually pay attention to what you're doing. i burned through one on my first try because i got impatient and didn't let the sensor calibrate. three though? that's like you were trying to break them on purpose or something.

Three probes is rookie numbers @harpercampbell could double that easily.
